At 6-foot-2, 262 lbs., Sam Acho may be undersized to start as a defensive end in the NFL.
Back in January, analysts like ESPN’s Mel Kiper said he’d probably get drafted in the fifth or sixth round. But after improving his draft stock with an impressive Pro Day and an even better Combine (he had 23 reps in the 225-pound bench press, ran a 4.67-second 40-yard dash, had a 33.5-inch vertical jump, and broad-jumped 9 feet, 4 inches), expect Acho to go late second or anywhere in the third round.
